Hello there!
My name is Maggie, and I'm an educator and leader in academic libraries. I work as an Assistant Professor and the Agriculture & Natural Resources Librarian at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I am currently holding an additional interim appointment as the Assistant Head of UT Libraries Health, Wellness, & Professional Programs Department. I completed an MLIS from the University of South Carolina and a BS in Food Science Clemson University, where I was a first-generation college student. I am currently preparing to enter the candidacy phase of a PhD in Higher Education Administration.
My current research focuses on libraries as a workplace, examining how interpersonal relationships, social norms, and organizational factors coalesce to lead to incivility, bullying, and burnout.
